Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 large chicken breasts, butterflied and pounded thin
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
For the Creamy Lemon Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
For the Garlic Butter Shrimp
- 12–15 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Lemon slices for serving

Instructions
Start by preparing the chicken. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set up your breading station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan in a third.
Coat each chicken piece in flour first, then dip into the egg, and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry the chicken until golden and crispy on both sides, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside while you prepare the sauce.
In the same pan, melt butter for the sauce and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir gently as everything comes together.
Lower the heat and add the heavy cream. Then stir in Parmesan cheese, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer slowly until the sauce becomes slightly thick and silky.
Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the creamy lemon sauce over the top. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes so the flavors soak in.
For the shrimp, heat butter in a separate pan. Add garlic and let it sizzle lightly. Add the shrimp, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until they turn pink and slightly golden, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Presentation
Place the creamy lemon chicken on a serving plate and generously spoon sauce over it so it glistens. Arrange the garlic butter shrimp beside or on top of the chicken for a beautiful restaurant-style look.
Finish with fresh basil leaves for color and aroma, and add a few lemon slices on the side for brightness. A light drizzle of extra sauce over everything makes it even more irresistible.
Serve it with pasta, mashed potatoes, or even crusty bread to soak up every drop of that creamy lemon sauce.
